I joined FoodSavvy over 15 years ago and have never looked back. I value the strong, trusting relationships that can be built with clients through individualised, compassionate care. As a mother of three, I understand how busy life can be and how easily food and mealtimes can become a source of stress or frustration.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, including work across all departments at Wellington Hospital, I bring a solid medical foundation alongside practical, realistic nutrition support. My approach is trauma-informed, recognising that each person’s relationship with food is shaped by their unique experiences. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
I have a particular interest in supporting people to improve their relationship with food, including those experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders. I also provide support for digestive health concerns, including IBS, as well as allergies and intolerances. My focus is on working collaboratively to find strategies that fit within each person’s lifestyle, preferences, and values—helping to make food feel manageable and enjoyable again.
